Revisen la lista de feriados decretados hasta el año 2020

La Presidencia de la República expidió ayer, 28 de diciembre de 2015, el Decreto 858 que establece el calendario de feriados nacionales obligatorios, recuperables, traslados y puentes para el sector público, con vigencia hasta el 2020. El documento establece que a pesar que la normativa aplica obligatoriamente para los funcionarios del Estado,

el sector privado puede acogerse a las jornadas de descanso establecidas en este. Feriados del 2016 Enero Viernes 1 – Año nuevo (no recuperable) Febrero Lunes 8 y martes 9 – Feriado de Carnaval (recuperable) Marzo Viernes 25 – Feriado Viernes Santo (no recuperable) Mayo El feriado del martes 24 de Mayo-Batalla de Pichincha, se traslada al viernes 27 (no recuperable) Agosto El feriado del miércoles 10 de Agosto- Primer Grito de la Independencia, se traslada al viernes 12 (no recuperable) Noviembre Miércoles 2 de noviembre- Feriado de Difuntos (no recuperable) Jueves 3 de noviembre – Independencia de Cuenca (no recuperable) Viernes 4 de noviembre- (puente recuperable) Las fechas como el 1 de Mayo – Día de Trabajo, 9 de Octubre- Independencia de Guayaquil, 25 de diciembre – Navidad, no están incluidas en este calendario ya que se dan en fin de semana. Para el 2017, los días de feriado se establecen de la siguiente manera: Febrero Lunes 27 y martes 28 – Feriado de Carnaval (recuperable) Abril Viernes 14 – Feriado de Viernes Santo (no recuperable) Mayo Lunes 1 – Día del Trabajo (no recuperable) El feriado del miércoles 24 de Mayo-Batalla de Pichincha, se traslada al viernes 26 (no recuperable) Agosto El feriado del jueves 10 de Agosto- Primer Grito de la Independencia, se traslada al viernes 11 (no recuperable) Octubre Lunes 9 – Independencia de Guayaquil (no recuperable) Noviembre Jueves 2 de noviembre – Día de los Difuntos (no recuperable) Viernes 3 de noviembre – Independencia de Cuenca (no recuperable) Diciembre Lunes 25 de diciembre- Navidad (no recuperable) El 1 de enero del 2017 no está incluido porque cae domingo.
