El entrenado Omar De Felippe en Argentina conversó con DXTV Para Todos donde, además de hablar sobre su experiencia dirigiendo a Emelec reveló un detalle de su contratación a este equipo.
De Felippe confesó cómo se dio su contratación para ser director técnico ‘Millonario’, afirmando que hasta él se quedó sorprendido por lo que presentó Nassib Neme, presidente de Emelec, al momento de realizarle la propuesta.
“Yo tengo contacto con él (Neme) desde el 2009, después de ascender con Olimpo, me llamó un día y nos pusimos a hablar por si estaba la posibilidad de ir a Ecuador, y ya había dado la palabra de renovar, no pudo ser en ese momento…después de nuestra ida de Independiente, se abrió la posibilidad en Emelec ya que Gustavo (Quinteros) se había ido a la selección”, manifestó.
“Presentó un estudio hecho de nuestra carrera y me dijo “por esto te traje” y ahí uno ve los números y la verdad que es una alegría para uno, porque ni yo lo he tomado en cuenta”, relató De Felippe.
El estratega además potenció que es importante el cariño que les ha demostrado la hinchada de Emelec en todas las partes donde han jugado.
