Solo si un magistrado dictamina que las acciones de Lucía Vallecilla en representación de Luis Ch. y Vinicio L. son nulas, la Fiscalía solicitará una audiencia para una nueva formulación de cargos y en esta, posiblemente, se ordenen las mismas medidas cautelares que atraviesan los procesados.
Galo Chiriboga, fiscal general del Estado, dijo que la audiencia para determinar la validez de las diligencias efectuadas por Vallecilla se realizarán desde las 09:00 del 1 de febrero, en la Unidad Penal de Pichincha, ante la jueza Ana Lucía Cevallos.
Añadió que el Consejo de la Judicatura retiró a Vallecilla del Foro de Abogados y le revocó la credencial de abogada. Si se le encuentra responsable de actos ilegales, los efectos jurídicos que se le imputen serán parte de otro proceso, pues la Fiscalía también investiga las inconsistencias de 366 títulos profesionales.
Juan Carlos Machuca, defensor de Luis Ch. y Vinicio L., espera que se respete el debido proceso; se quejó de que en el caso de los funcionarios de la FEF se dictó prisión preventiva sin indagación previa.
Por otra parte, Miguel Baldeón, amigo de Luis Ch, cuenta que este luce emocionalmente estable, se la pasa jugando cartas en la computadora; tiene fe en que todo va a salir bien, en que todo se va arreglar y que saldrá bien librado”.
Baldeón visitó a Luis Ch., presidente suspendido de la Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol (FEF), quien guarda arresto domiciliario mientras cumple la instrucción fiscal por supuesto lavado de activos.
No obstante, Baldéon considera que Luis Ch., trata de mostrar toda su fortaleza de carácter porque el momento por el que atraviesa es muy delicado y eso ha afectado a su esposa, hijos y familia en general.
Su principal apoyo son sus familiares y allegados, quienes acuden constantemente a su casa. Mauricio, el tercero de sus 4 hijos, que se especializó en derecho y trabaja en el Tribunal de Arbitraje Deportivo (TAS), por lo que reside en España, estuvo en diciembre en el país para animar a su padre.
“Luis Ch. debe tener una procesión por dentro, es un tremendo escándalo, le están investigando por todo lado y la opinión pública le ha hecho trapo”, opina Baldeón.
Uno de sus amigos más íntimos, Ricardo Acosta, expresidente de Deportivo Quito, indica que lo ha visitado varias veces y, aunque está algo pasado de peso, está bien de salud. Pese a la incomodidad de tener resguardo policial, Luis Ch. ha tratado de adaptarse a las restricciones del arresto domiciliario.
Cuando no juega cartas en el computador, juega 40 con los amigos que van a verlo y, ahora que tiene tiempo, se la pasa oyendo la radio. “Trata de hacer la vida llevadera y sabe que hay gente leal con él, como también personas malas. Hay políticos que están involucrados en el tema y, como se nos viene una año electoral (2017), están tratando de sacar réditos”.
Entre quienes han acudido a charlar con Luis Ch. están el técnico Carlos Sevilla, el auditor de la FEF, Marcelo Espinoza Bermeo; varios miembros de la Culta Barra de Deportivo Quito y algunos músicos.
Ricardo Acosta conoce hace más de 3 décadas a Luis Ch. y con él festejó en el Colegio de Ingenieros de Pichincha la clasificación de Ecuador a los mundiales de Japón-Corea 2002, Alemania 2006 y Brasil 2014. (I)
